DIVE BLOG

This morning under one of our favourite local jetty’s we had such an exciting 140 minute dive. I encountered a Dumpling Squid cruising along the bottom very close to the sand. As I watched it & tried to line it up for a nice image there was this big puff of sand & it seemingly changed colour, I soon realised that it had startled a Pyjama Squid hiding just below the sand line, both of them flew(swam:) in opposite directions. Usually both these varieties of squid are nocturnal & are very seldom seen during the day. My lucky day :) Meanwhile further up the jetty Bert had found a Beautiful Bright Orange Western Australian Seahorse. Such a perfect way to start a Sunday…..
